International Disaster Recovery Association
April 3-6, 2005 - Baltimore, MD - The 15th Annual Conference on Contingency
Planning, Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery using Telecommunications.
It's a unique learning experience. All presentations relate to telecommunications
disaster recovery, business continuation and contingency planning. Since
1990 it has been the first and only conference dedicated to Telecom DRP.
Each year IDRA assembles experts from the field to speak on the latest
information regarding Telecom DRP. There are also refresher / introductory

Mid Atlantic Disaster Recovery Association, Inc.
This association was formed to stimulate communications among individuals,
groups and the community working in the areas of disaster recovery and
business continuity planning. By disaster recovery and business continuity
planning, they mean those disciplines required to recover an organization
which has suffered a catastrophic event, seriously impairing its ability

The Business Continuity Planners Association
BCPA, based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, is a non-profit, mutual benefit association
of business professionals responsible for, or participating in, business
recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning,
disaster preparedness planning, or a related professional vocation.
The mission of BCPA is to provide a professional
and educational environment for the exchange of experience, dissemination
of information, professional growth, and for added value of mutual interest
to the membership.

NEDRIX/CPM Symposium

partnership with CPM will host a very important symposium that should
not be missed by anyone who is involved in Emergency Management, Security
and Business Continuity.
The primary objective of this event is to bring
together business continuity, security, and emergency management practitioners
to explore how the disciplines can work together building on the collective
best practices and standards of each, to create a more effective model
for cooperation and coordination in both the private and public sectors.

efforts as a community to collectively strengthen the effectiveness of
our nation's security, emergency response and business resumption activities
in response to threats and major interruption events. We look forward

Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) got its start
in 1967, when a small group of individuals with similar jobs-auditing
controls in the computer systems that were becoming increasingly critical
to the operations of their organizations-sat down to discuss the need
for a centralized source of information and guidance in the field. In
1969, the group formalized, incorporating as the EDP Auditors Association.

Disaster Recovery Information Exchange Canada
DRIE Canada was officially inaugurated on May 26, 1994. It was formed
in order to promote the profession across Canada and to co-ordinate the
efforts of the various chapters of DRIE. The aim of DRIE Canada is to
become the primary source of information and education for contingency
planners across Canada. The formation of DRIE Canada was announced at
the 1st National General Meeting of DRIE held during the Fourth World
