GPCP is an organization of business continuity professionals in the Midwest with a commitment to leadership and professionalism. They accomplish this by providing an organized environment for exchange of information, networking and continuing education for all professionals. It was created in 1992 by a group of local area corporate professionals dedicated to enhancing the business continuity planning process. GPCP is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Nebraska. Information Systems Audit and Control Association
Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) got its start in 1967, when a small group of individuals with similar jobs-auditing controls in the computer systems that were becoming increasingly critical to the operations of their organizations-sat down to discuss the need for a centralized source of information and guidance in the field. In 1969, the group formalized, incorporating as the EDP Auditors Association. In 1976 the association formed an education foundation to undertake large-scale research efforts to expand the knowledge and value of the IT governance and control field. Disaster Recovery Information Exchange Canada
DRIE Canada was officially inaugurated on May 26, 1994. It was formed in order to promote the profession across Canada and to co-ordinate the efforts of the various chapters of DRIE. Business Recovery Planners Association of Southeastern Wisconsin
BRPASW is an independent professional association of people employed in all aspects of disaster recovery, contingency and business planning. It is a not-for-profit association dedicated to providing educational opportunities, networking with peers and the exchange of information about business continuity issues.

Meetings:
BRPASW meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Meetings are held nine times a year - January through June and September through November at various locations in the Milwaukee area. The meeting format usually includes a brief meeting followed by an educational program.

The Business Contingency Planning Forum of Northeast Kansas
Meetings are called each quarter and held at various host business locations.
