The 2004 Homeland Security Summit

The response for the 2004 Homeland Security Summit has been overwhelming. This year's event has heavy focus on the Department of Homeland Security's National Incident Management Systems (NIMS). A direct result of Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-5, NIMS was designed to provide a consistent, nationwide domestic preparedness plan for federal, state, local, and tribal governments. This summit will help your jurisdiction obtain the tools to implement NIMS to enhance your domestic preparedness capabilities and ensure the continuation of federal funding.
