Former New York City OEM Director Named to Lead Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS) For BNet
New York, NY - Peter R. Picarillo, the former director and founder of the Public-Private Initiatives group for the New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and a retired New York City Police Sergeant has been named as the first ever Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS) Managing Director for the Business Network of Emergency Resources, Inc. (BNet). In this capacity, Mr. Picarillo will work to develop CEAS programs in states and cities around the country in coordination with emergency management officials and the business community. The National Conference on Animals in Disaster will include more than 60 hours of valuable seminars and workshops that will appeal to emergency managers and responders, animal care and control personnel, veterinary professionals, and volunteers of all levels and experience. The topics fall into three main areas: Preparedness and Planning, National and Veterinary Issues, and Response Issues. Meetings of the Association of Sacramento Area Planners are held the second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 A.M. at Vision Services Plan (VSP) 3333 Quality Drive, Rancho Cordova, California.
