We are developing an article summarizing the past 20 years of our "industry".  The industry as we define it includes emergency management, business continuity, disaster recovery, information security, risk management and homeland security.

1.  Tell a bit about your introduction to the industry? (geographic location, practitioner/vendor, when, etc.)

2.  Describe the state of EM,BC, DR during those days.  What was the extent of overlap between the disciplines?  

3.  How has the industry evolved?  What have been the major events? In your opinion, who have been key players (vendors, organizations, etc.)  What were the primary problems being tackled?  Can you give a timeline?  

4.  What are the most important trends and issues today?
