| Tech Companies Suffer Data Breaches, Survey Says According to Deloitte, the majority of tech companies say they are "reactive" rather than proactive when it comes to investing in information security, and only four percent believe they are doing enough to address the problem. The study also found that while phishing is considered to be a major threat to tech companies, only 25 percent say they have implemented anti-phishing technologies. Only 37 percent have provided security training to their employees in the past 12 months, and only 24 percent say they believe they are using the security tools they've deployed effectively.
