Another article in the Times states that, “Health Minister Muhammad Nair Khan has warned of the threat of epidemics in the quake-hit areas due to decomposing bodies and water contamination.”  Speaking at a press conference at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, he said,  “cholera, tetanus, diarrhea and other enteric diseases could spread in these areas.” For the full article about health threats in the region, go to:
