OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

BGCS has been in business for 22 years and lists numerous corporations and government agencies as clients. BGCS was on site at the Oklahoma City Bombing aiding a government client in business recovery and provided assistance to a large international corporation of 38,000 personnel who had several hundred employees at “ground zero”. The BGCS principal consultant also directed the disaster recovery operation of three large computer operations centers following the largest fire in Air force history. BGCS provides Corporate America and government agencies highly relevant presentations and seminars/courses on business continuity, government continuity of operations, disaster prevention, improving continuity plans, security enhancement and sabotage/terrorism avoidance. The BGCS condensed, on site, seminar “Business, Government and Community Continuity from A to Z” provides valuable training and details for executive management and staff on how to develop or improve business recovery or continuity of operations plans in house, in less time, at reduced cost.

BGCS provides the following services:

1. Business, Government and Community Continuity Planning training for executive management and staff. This condensed training would benefit those who contribute to developing or improving continuity plans, those serving on recovery teams and those who provide support services. This is also recommended for those who already have plans to maintain commitment and to provide plan improvement principles/ideas. Our “Flagship” course is ideal to assist organizations in starting the business/government continuity process or in progressing from Information Systems Disaster Recovery plans to Business Continuity Plans.

2. Our Continuity Planning seminar also contains recommendations and principles to improve plans and to enhance the security, sustainability and survivability of organizations to include sabotage and terrorism avoidance.

3. Develop Risk Analyses and Business Impact Analyses and other business continuity planning modules as well as auditing Business Recovery Plans. BGCS can facilitate a BIA work session with key functional management to significantly shorten the BIA time frame. BGCS also offers a quick risk analysis option which can be completed in less time at reduced cost.

4. Addressing the Human Resource aspects of disasters. BGCS provides recommendations and disaster lessons learned for organizations regarding our most important asset, our personnel. We train personnel how to develop their own personal/family disaster recovery plans. This shows staff that the organization cares and believes that personnel are most important. A major organizational benefit is that more staff will be available after the disaster to support a recovery.

5. Executive and Conference Disaster Prevention and Business Continuity Presentations.

6. Security and Sabotage Terrorism Avoidance Presentations.

7. Training on Character and Integrity in the Workplace as a disaster and workplace violence deterrent and to improve organizational productivity.

8. Train, then assist and mentor your organization as they develop total Continuity Plans.

9. Audit plans. Develop and facilitate tests/exercises to train personnel and assess the effectiveness of Continuity Plans to improve business continuity and recovery capabilities.
